About this place
The thick cinnamon toast has been described by diners as crisp at the edges, soft inside and light enough to eat easily. It is listed on the menu with sugar sprinkled over it, making it an easy choice when you fancy something more alongside your coffee.
At Café Trois Chambres, part of the pleasure is choosing a blend to suit your taste. The Nire blend is described as a dark roast with a deep flavour, while the lighter-roasted Kaze blend has a gentler, lighter-bodied taste. Both cost 600 yen, and a refill of either blend is available for 300 yen.
One diner who paired the bitter Nire blend with baked cheesecake recalled that the coffee’s richness was complemented by a hint of raisin in the cake. The menu lists two types: rare cheesecake served with blueberry sauce and cheesecake torte. A set with blend coffee costs 950 yen. Choose your cake and settle in for a leisurely break.
If you would rather have tea, a lemon tea and cheesecake set is also available for 950 yen. Some diners have found the café in Daizawa, Shimokitazawa, a relaxing place to spend time, while several reviews mention that smoking is permitted. Bear that in mind if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke.
